Capcom’s E3 showcase was lackluster to say the least, mainly because the company didn’t have too much new stuff to show. Not even a Mega Man announcement, man! However at least Resident Evil 8 Village got a little bit of spotlight.

At the start of the showcase, the company confirmed that downloadable content is in the works for the game. When Village was first made, it was a single player experience with a story that had an opening and a close. However, with the game selling millions of copies, it appears that Capcom has changed its tune, and will tell even more of its story. No word yet as to who the DLC will feature, but it’s on the way.
In other news, the company also confirmed that the star-studded multiplayer mode of the game, ReVerse, will finally make its debut next month. Again, a date wasn’t given, but it’s not too far off. Check out the trailer below to get an idea of what you’re in for.
Resident Evil 8 Village is available now for PlayStation consoles, Xbox consoles and PC.
