Kao Kangaroo was a charming platforming adventure game, that saw resounding success in Poland in the early 2000s. It also made some successes internationally and for avid fans of the series, this revival is the perfect chance to revisit the world.
Recap
Koa Kangaroo has produced four games spanning between 2000-2005. The first installment follows Kao fighting with fearsome hunters who have captured his family. Kao does this with the help of his trustworthy boxing gloves.
The second installment Kao Kangaroo: Round 2 follows Kao again as the hunter returns to wreak havoc. Kao and his friends are kidnapped. He manages to escape and must again save his friends.
Kao Challengers was released next which followed the same storyline as the Kao Kangaroo: Round 2 but was featured on the PSP and was an enhanced version graphically.
The fourth and last installment before this proposed reboot was Kao Kangaroo: Mystery of the Volcano. This game in the series was on PC and featured Kao on volcanic islands. Kao had to traverse the islands, collect artifacts, defeat a volcano god and free his companion.
This concludes the summary of all the games prior to the reboot. The positive of this is it seems unlikely that someone would need to be fully up to speed before playing the reboot.

Release Date
