While today’s Halo Infinite update may not have offered any more details on the mysterious campaign, it did revel one interesting factor that will be huge for fans of its multiplayer – they can enjoy it free of charge.

Microsoft and 343 Industries revealed today that Halo Infinite will have free-to-play multiplayer, and from the looks of it, it’ll be just as chaotic as in previous games. You can check out the first gameplay below to get a taste of what’s to come, including weapons that can knock Warthogs for a loop in one shot. Talk about insane.
Of course, those that want the full Halo Infinite experience will be able to experience the “Epic Campaign,” which tells the next chapter of Master Chief as he attempts to deal with the loss of his virtual partner Cortana. But of course, he’s got aliens to fight, so it’s time to find a pulse rifle.
Check out the footage below and prepare to jump in later this year, only on Xbox and PC!
