This area is the southern most portion of the game and is an optional area containing Castle Morne. While this area is technically part of Limgrave, we separated it as there’s so much content, it might as well be its own area.
Mini Dungeon Bosses
These bosses are all located in caves and dungeons throughout the Weeping Peninsula.
Burial Tree Watchdog

Health: 1,185
Drops: 2,400 Runes, Demi-Human Ashes
Weakness: Strike
Immunity: Elemental Damage, Status Effects, Thrust, Standard, Slash
Location: Impaler’s Catacombs
Burial Tree Watchdogs luckily fight nearly the same every time, but might be stronger or come in pairs of two or three depending on the catacombs. The Impaler’s Catacombs boss fight will consist of the Watchdog and several Imps. Imps can wrack up crazy bleed damage fast, but luckily are easy to take out. The best method for this fight is to rush every Imp, but keep your eyes on the Watchdog and other Imps so you are not nuked from behind. Once every Imp has been defeated, then focus on the Watchdog. He will have the same attacks, which are his fire breath, tail swipe, normal sweep with his sword, and leap attack.
Melee fighters should keep to the Watchdog’s back and bait him into certain attacks. When the Watchdog breaths fire, keep behind him and feel free to hit him a couple times while he spins in a slow circular motion. When the Watchdog jump attacks, he will do so five times in a row leaving him open to a strike every time he goes to jump again. Basically bait him into certain attacks and punish him in his recovery phases. Magic users will have an easier time since they can just kite him around the arena and pick off the imps.
Runebear

Health: N/A
Drops: 2,600 Runes, Spelldrake Talisman
Weakness: Fire, Slash
Immunity: Bleed, Frostbite
Location: Earthbore Cave
The Runebear is huge, terrifying, and aggressive at first. He hits like a truck and can nearly or completely one shot you depending on your vitality stat. The best method for this boss fight is to stay under him and attack sparingly, since you will need enough endurance to roll away if need be. Try not to block since his attacks will probably guard break you and keep on the defensive rather than going full on attack. Magic users, bring fireballs if you have enough faith to use incantations. Otherwise, the Carian Piercer Spell can deal a good chunk of damage too. *Note that the bear can be staggered for a visceral attack.*
Cemetery Shade

Health: N/A
Drops: 2,200 Runes, Lhutel the Headless
Weakness: Holy
Immunity: Status Effects, Thrust
Location: Tombsward Catacombs
This fight is another pretty easy one, but can be annoying due to the skeletons. It is good to use ashes as a distraction such as Lone Wolf if you find yourself struggling and to sprint to the other side of the arena. Ignore the skeletons and focus on the boss, for magic users need only to keep their distance and fire at him. Melee users should be careful, the Shade can use his hands as blades that cause blood loss. However, he will go down fast if you dodge as needed and hit him fast and hard.
Scaly Misbegotten

Health: 2,200
Drops: 2,000 Runes, Rusted Anchor
Weakness: Thrust, Fire, Status Effects
Immunity: Slash
Location: Morne Tunnel
This is one of the easier fights, however, note that this guy can hit hard and kill you if you are not careful. Just do your best to avoid his axe swings and pound on him. He can be backstabbed so try to keep behind him as much as possible. For magic users, you only need to keep your distance and blast him. Spirit ashes can serve as a great distraction if you find yourself struggling for whatever reason.
Miranda, the Blighted Bloom

Health: N/A
Drops: 2,100 Runes, Viridian Amber Medallion
Weakness: Frostbite, Fire, Slash
Immunity: Strike, Lightning, Holy, Poison
Location: Tombsward Cave
Miranda can be annoying due to her Poison Cloud attacks and her Light Beams, so note to bring Neutralizing Boluses to relieve poison build up. Make sure you have an upgraded weapon on hand if you want to deal any decent damage to her. Be very aggressive until you see the beams of light on the floor in your location, and run out of range as fast as possible. As you attack she will most likely spew poison clouds, but do not stress too much and keep the Boluses at the ready if the build up is too much. Magic users will have an easier time, especially incantation users with fire ball. Feel free to go all out and be mindful of the Beam attack. She should go down fast with heavy fire damage and strong spells.
Area Bosses
These are the bosses located throughout the Weeping Peninsula and are not in any dungeons.
Night’s Calvary

Health: 2,200
Drops: 3,400 Runes, Ash of War: Barricade Shield, Nightrider Flail
Weakness: Thrust, Lightning
Immunity: Standard, Slash, Strike, Holy, Fire, Magic
Location: Road near Castle Morne Rampart
Once again, the best method is to attack this boss mounted rather than on foot. This boss is a knight mounted on a horse, and both of them have separate health bars. You can knock him off the horse, but he will summon it back instantly if you do not keep attacking him. This is why I prefer mounted combat for the fight, because you can consistently keep up with him and attack his sides, or kite him with magic. If you want to attack him on foot, melee players should wait for the knight to charge you, and then attack after dodging through him rolling forward. Magic users should try to keep distanced and use spells that will attack both him and the horse for good measure. Lightning Spear and Glinstone Arc are great spells to use.
Deathbird

Health: 2,750
Drops: 3,900 Runes, Sacrificial Axe
Weakness: Strike, Holy, Scarlet Rot
Immunity: Thrust, Lightning, Bleed, Frostbite, Poison
Location: North of Castle Morne, under a cliff
Again the big bird with a giant cane, however luckily it is the same fight as before. Keep down the attack patterns by dodging through his sweeps and side to side for his thrusts. Attack during openings and be mindful of your endurance. Horse combat is highly suggested as before.
Erdtree Avatar

Health: 14,992
Drops: 3,600 Runes, Opaline Bubbletear, Crimsonburst Crystal Tear
Weakness: Strike, Fire, Frostbite
Immunity: Holy, Scarlet Rot, Bleed, Poison
Location: Near the Erdtree located in the center of the Peninsula.
Mounted combat is again suggested since armor weight is nullified on your horse. Erdtree’s can be easy with fire at your disposal if you are able to use a grease or incantations. Magic users can kite these beasts on foot or on horse, but be wary of its jump attack where it summons Holy Rays that act as homing missiles. They can easily ruin your entire set up when fighting this giant tree monster. For unmounted melee users, be mindful of its sweep attacks and mace slams that can easily one shot you. Dodge through the sweep and side to side when it slams the weapon downwards. When you see the homing holy missiles summoned, find cover or run sideways. This fight is all about dodging correctly and trying to nuke the boss with fire if possible.
Evergaol
Ancient Hero of Zamor

Health: 2,200
Drops: 5,400 Runes, Radagon’s Scarseal
Weakness: Fire, Lightning, Magic
Immunity: Bleed
Location: Weeping Evergaol
Hero of Zamor is one of the easier Evergaols in my opinion. He will hit hard and cause a lot of frost damage, but his moves can be easily dodged and are very much telegraphed. Glintstone abilities and the Carian blade are excellent choices to bring to combat for magic users, and fire incantations for faith builds will also do a lot of damage. Melee users should run in with a few hits and then run out, and when she telegraphs her frost breath run to the side. Phase two will show him coating his sword in frost, and he will become a lot more aggressive. Remain calm and dodge his new attacks like his AOE and parry him if possible. Magic users can easily kite him throughout the fight, but should be mindful of how to dodge his moves.
Castle Morne
This is an optional area of the game but a major optional area in terms of story, items, and a major side boss.
Leonine Misbegotten

Health: 14,272
Drops: 3,800 Runes, Grafted Blade Greatsword
Weakness: Slash
Immunity: Lightning, Magic, Holy
Location: Castle Morne
Leonine Misbegotten is very aggressive, and he will use a lot of standard and pierce damage. However, he can be parried and staggered which will come in handy for melee users. For close combat, it is better to dodge his attacks rather than block otherwise he will shield break you. Note that his overhead and vertical attacks will leave him open to sneak in a hit or two. Melee fighters should aim to stagger him since he staggers very easily. Magic users should bring Carian Spells and try to kite him around the Arena. Summons like Lone Wolf will help a lot for the fight to add some more damage.
