This is area covering the most northern part of Liurnia of the Lakes, and consists of a key area that contributes to a certain ending of the game. It also features some of the more challenging content early to mid game.
Mini Dungeon Bosses
Magma Wyrm

Health: 7,000
Drops: 7,500 Runes, Dragon Heart, Moonveil
Weakness: Strike, Standard, Thrust
Immunity: Bleed, Poison, Scarlet Rot, Fire
Location: Gael Tunnel
Magma Wyrm has a few powerful attacks, paired with spewing lava that can stagger and kill you. However after his attacks there is usually downtime to get a few hits in. Melee users should keep him midrange and wait for the lava to disperse before going in at his sides. Avoid getting caught in his sideways roll and spin attacks because if you have under 40 vigor it will most likely one shot you. Magic users will have an easier time since he is weak to sorceries, so hard hitting or multi shot spells will help break his poise allowing for a critical attack.
Evergaols
Alabaster Lord

Health: N/A
Drops: 3,600 Runes, Meteorite
Weakness: Physical
Immunity: All Status Effects, All Elemental Damage, Frostbite
Location: Royal Grave Evergaol
There are only a few attacks that the Alabaster Lord uses, and one of them has a an easy method to exploit for some good damage. He will use a quick combo with his sword that is easily dodged, a lightning attack that is also easily dodged, and a meteorite that sends a shockwave and will be thrown at you. During his meteorite attack it is easy to get behind him and attack freely for quite a few hits. You can also dodge his chain attack and easily get behind him for some punishment. Magic users need only to keep out of reach for his attacks and kite him around his arena.
Area Bosses
Night’s Calvary

Health: 2,200
Drops: 5,600 Runes, Ash of War: Giant Hunt, Nightrider Glaive
Weakness: Thrust, Lightning
Immunity: Standard, Slash, Strike, Magic, Fire, Holy
Location: South of Bellum Church near the bridge
Mounted is highly Recommended for this fight. This boss is a knight mounted on a horse and both of them have separate health bars. You can knock him off the horse, but he will summon it back instantly if you do not keep attacking him. This is why I prefer mounted combat for the fight, because you can consistently keep up with him and attack his sides or kite him with magic. If you want to attack him on foot, melee players should wait for the knight to charge you, and then attack after dodging through him rolling forward. Magic users should try to keep distanced and use spells that will attack both him and the horse for good measure. Lightning Spear and Glinstone Arc are great spells to use.
Royal Revenant

Health: N/A
Drops: 3,100 Runes
Weakness: Slash
Immunity: Holy
Location: Kingsrealm Ruins
Melee users will have an extremely hard time making ranged the preferred method. If you have no other options, find the hardest hitting weapon you can to attempt to break its stance. Keep dodging and blocking as needed, and do not get greedy when attacking. This enemy will constantly lunge attack you, teleport and spew poison, claw you, and slam down with its fists. Bring neutralizing boluses for poison build up, and incantation users can actually use heal near it to damage it.
Carian Manor
Royal Knight Loretta

Health: 4,214
Drops: 10,000 Runes, Loretta’s Greatbow, Ash of War: Loretta’s Slash
Weakness: Physical, Lightning
Immunity: Bleed, Frostbite
Location: Caria Manor
Attacks:
- Glintblade Phalanx: Summons 5 Glintblades, 8 if below 50% HP
- Glintstone Pebble: Basic sorcery
- Greatbow Charge: Charges bow and releases great arrow
- Glintstone Stars: Releases 4 magic bolts at the player
Melee users will have to be wary of her magical attacks. Dodging her sweeps and thrusts are easy enough by dodging into her or towards the side. Keeping to her sides is the best method for landing some hits before running away from her magic attacks. Dodge under her great bow attacks when it looks like it is about to hit you. Try to constantly keep close to her if possible to make the fight go faster and smoother. Magic users need only to keep their distance and dodge as needed, summons will be recommended for a distraction. Dodging is recommended over blocking, since she will most likely shield break you.
Glinstone Dragon Adula (Part 1)

Health: 11,550
Drops: None (flies away at half health)
Weakness: Thrust
Immunity: Magic, Status Effects
Location: Out front of Ranni’s Rise
Attacks:
- Adula’s Moonblade: Will fly and move backwards, summoning a magic greatsword to slash you with
- Seeking Shards: Breath attack summoning glinstone shards to seek you out
- Dragon Breath: Breath attack in sweeping motion both flying or on ground
Fighting mounted is always preferred for dragons, since Dragons like to fly off and spew fire at you. You can easily catch up and avoid being hit while mounted. Otherwise, you will be in for the long haul as a melee users seeing as the head takes more damage and you cannot reach out. If melee and unmounted, use long reaching weapons to attempt attacking it’s head. Be careful, since his melee attacks deal just as much damage as his magic and fire attacks. He can use a tail sweep, pound attacks, and air sweeps and ground pounds. Magic users should try and use glinstone attacks and aim at the head, avoiding its attacks and keeping your distance. Once he is around half health, he should fly off to the next area. You will encounter him later in the game for part two of the fight.
