Liurnia of the Lakes is arguably the largest area of the game and is filled to the brim with dungeons, area bosses, and more. In this area alone there are a total of 39 bosses, and trying to complete everything can take more than a day. In this guide, we will cover every boss and their location for the eastern portion of the map.
Mini-Dungeon Bosses
Burial Tree Watchdog

Health: 1,185
Drops: 3,200 Runes, Kaiden Sellsword Ashes
Weakness: Strike
Immunity: All Elemental Damage, Standard, Slash, Thrust, All Status Effects
Location: Cliffbottom Catacombs
The version of the Watchdog has a few differences from the normal version, starting with the fact that it has three heads. This version also wields a staff and uses incantations. Aside from the spells and three-headed fire attacks, the attacks used are the same as the previous with their leap and sweep moves.
Melee fighters should keep behind as normal and dodge their attacks normally. If the Watchdog summons spells be mindful but other than that, roll away or back away when he leaps above you. If he sweeps, roll backward. Try to avoid blocking because you will likely get stun-locked.
Magic users will have an easier time as long as they avoid magic attacks and keep their distance. Just kite the boss around the arena and slowly chip away at its health.
Ring Blade Crystalian

Health: N/A
Drops: 3,000 Runes, Smithing Stone Miner’s Bell Bearing (2)
Weakness: Strike, Standard
Immunity: Slash, Thrust, All Elemental, Bleed, Poison, Frostbite, Scarlet Rot
Location: Raya Lucaria Crystal Cave
This fight can be extremely annoying due to the fact that all physical attacks bounce off it until you stagger it. The fight is easy so long as you dodge appropriately; it just takes forever to break the boss down. Try to keep behind it and wail on her until she staggers, and then she will take damage normally. Backstabs do not help as much since you need to consistently deal damage to get her to break, so try to avoid doing them. Once she cracks, killing her will go much faster.
Magic users will have an easier time since certain spells can damage them normally. We recommend Glinstone attacks like Pebble to kill them efficiently and fastly. Use summon
Cemetery Shade and Black Knife Assassin

Health: 2,750 (Assassin),
Drops:
Shade– 3,500 Runes, Twinsage Sorcerer Ashes
Assassin– 3,150 Runes, Assassin’s Cerulean Dagger, Black Knifeprint
Weakness:
Shade– Holy
Assassin– Standard, Slash, Thrust, Frostbite
Immunity:
Shade– Thrust, Status Effects
Assassin– Holy, Strike, Bleed, Scarlet Rot, Poison
Location: Black Knife Catacombs
The first fight will be with the Assassin, and, as previously mentioned in the prior guides, it is easily staggered. However it hits fast and is very mobile so do not try to parry it or block, just focus on dodging. Both classes can utilize long wolf ashes to help with the fight, and either ranges her down or use a fast weapon if you are melee.
In the next room, you will fight a Cemetery Shade and some skeletons, so you should kill off the skeletons first. Shades are extremely fast, can teleport, and will hit in rapid succession. If you are a shield user, it is best to use a high damage negation shield or dodge. Try to coat your weapon with holy damage or use a holy weapon to utilize its weakness. Magic users should try to equip fast spells like Swift Glinstone Shard since the Shade is fast and teleports often.
NPC Invaders
Festering Fingerprint Vyke

Health: N/A
Drops: Furlcalling Finger Remedy, Fingerprint Grape, Vyke’s War Spear
Weakness: N/A
Immunity: N/A
Location: Church of Inhibition
This is a pretty easy fight, however, getting there can be a pain since he is near the all-seeing eye of Sauron. All jokes aside, Vyke is fast and uses his spear, but other than that he is pretty quick to take down depending on build. Magic users should try and kite him with quick spells, and melee fighters need to be cautious of getting hit too many times since his weapon causes madness damage.
Area Bosses
Night’s Calvary

Health: 2,200
Drops: 5,600 Runes, Ashes of War: Giant Hunt, nightrider Glaive
Weakness: Thrust, Lightning
Immunity: Holy, Fire, Magic, Strike, Standard, Slash
Location: South of Bellum Church
As mentioned, Night’s Calvary can be a huge pain if you attack unmounted, and this one wields a spear so it is best to keep to his sides and attack mounted. This boss is a knight mounted on a horse, and both of them have separate health bars. You can knock him off the horse, but he will summon it back instantly if you do not keep attacking him. This is why I prefer mounted combat for the fight because you can consistently keep up with him and attack his sides, or kite him with magic. If you want to attack him on foot, melee players should wait for the knight to charge you, and then attack after dodging through him rolling forward. Magic users should try to keep distanced and use spells that will attack both him and the horse for good measure. Lightning Spear and Glinstone Arc are great spells to use.
Tibia Mariner

Health: 2,750
Drops: 4,700 Runes, Deathroot, Skeletal Bandit Ashes
Weakness: Holy, Strike
Immunity: Thrust, Lightning, Poison, Frostbite, Scarlet Rot
Location: Artist’s Shack
The Mariner will teleport around the ruins when you deal him a chunk of damage, but is slow to attack and will hit the undead around him. He will lift his boat and swing down, as well as summon a purple-like fire that will one-shot other enemies. The best method is to blast him with magic for magic users, or wail on his sides with weapons. Dodge as needed, and he will eventually drop.
Erdtree Avatar

Health: 14,992
Drops: 5,800 Runes, Holy-Shrouding Cracked Tear, Lightning-Shrouded Cracked Tear, Magic-Shrouding Cracked Tear
Weakness: Strike, Fire, Frostbite
Immunity: Holy, Scarlet Rot, Bleed, Poison
Location: Northeast side of Liurnia
Mounted combat is again suggested since armor weight is nullified on your horse. Erdtree’s can be easy with fire at your disposal if you are able to use grease or incantations. Magic-users can kite these beasts on foot or on horse, but be wary of its jump attack where it summons Holy Rays that act as homing missiles. They can easily ruin your entire setup when fighting this giant tree monster. For unmounted melee users, be mindful of its sweep attacks and mace slams that can easily one shot you. Dodge through the sweep and side to side when it slams the weapon downwards. When you see the homing holy missiles summoned, find cover or run sideways. This fight is all about dodging correctly and trying to nuke the boss with fire if possible.
Carian Study Hall
Preceptor Miriam

Health: N/A (NPC)
Drops: 5,000 Runes, Magic Downpour
Inverted: Lucidity
Weakness: N/A
Immunity: N/A
Location: Study Hall
Miriam is an incredibly annoying fight in the normal Study Hall and inverted. She is a full-blown mage that will throw spells at you with summoned spirits and will teleport every time she loses some health. Fighting her with magic is a game of dodging and trying to keep on her before she hits you with her missile. Melee users should rush her, and keep hitting her to prevent her from attacking. It is best to rush her into her second area when she teleports away, mostly due to the fact you can use the environment as a shield like the walls and railings. You can also cheese her by luring her down the elevator hole.
Divine Tower Bridge
Godskin Noble

Health: 10,000
Drops: 4,810 Runes, Godskin Noble Set
Weakness: Slash, Bleed, Frostbite
Immunity: Fire, Holy, Strike
Location: Tower Bridge
Attacks:
- Black Flame: Noble shoots a black fireball at you
- Black Flame Barrier: Noble conjures a ring of fire around him
- Belly Shove: Noble thrust belly at you causing knockback
- Roll: Noble will bloat up body and roll at you continuously for a few seconds
You can run by this boss, but fighting him can be just as fun. Nobles have a few attacks, such as their ground slam, rolling attack, and thrust attacks. Dodging can b tricky, but roll away for the ground slam, roll into him when he charges you with the rolling attack, and with his normal attacks roll to the sides. The Noble can also use incantations with fire damage, but they are more easily dodged since it’s mostly throwing fire balls. Melee users should go for bleed damage for the fasted way of killing them, and try to keep behind him. He can easily shield break you depending on stats, so keep dodging and keep an eye out for the belly thrust by dodging backward. Ranged users will have a harder time, especially faith, so try and use mimic tier or some sort of ashes for the distraction and stay patient. Otherwise, you can cheese him by getting him to roll off the stairs behind your back at the entrance.
