Welcome back to the land of the dead with DeepSilver Studios, if you are a long-time fan of the series you’ll know exactly what we are looking for when it comes to first impressions with Dead Island 2. Beyond our nostalgic views, will this bring our zombie slaying into modern gaming once again?
Fellow Zombie Slayers, I can say with some certainty that it will, and it is bringing life to an old-dead series. Currently sitting at 4.5 out of 5 stars on Epic Games, leading with reviews like ”Epic Boss Battles” ”So much stomping!” and ”GORY!!”
This game is easily a ‘MUST PLAY’ for all of those who love zombie smashing and customization options that would make the gun gods weep. Dead Island brings back their love of customizing guns, weapons, and everything that could be used to take out a zombie or two!

Dead Island brings you five, not one, not three, BUT FIVE new characters to select from right off the menu. Each one has their own gruesome story of how they got to be one of your selections, these characters range from pure Tank mode to Sneaky Stealth users. With a stat chart available as you scroll through the characters, you’ll be able to find one that suits your playstyle the most right off the bat.

Now that you’ve made yourself at home in Los Angelos, let’s get ready to go! With a great proper tutorial, showcasing up close and personal gore and chaos, you’ll have a taste of the Zombie Smashin’ life quickly. Follow along with the tutorial to uncover your first quest, your first friends, and the last place you’ll want to call home.
