Rather than elaborate on what kind of Assassin’s Creed game would drop in 2022, Ubisoft instead opted to focus on the next year of content headed for its most current game in the franchise, Valhalla.
During today’s Ubisoft Direct, the developers confirmed that the game will receive support “well into” 2022, including an expansion that focuses heavily on the debut of Odin. More details are expected in the months ahead.
In the meantime, one-handed swords will make their debut “in the next few weeks,” and the Siege of Paris is still set to arrive this summer. The game will also receive its very own Discovery Tour, set to arrive this fall and offering details in the game’s historic setting, without having to slaughter your way through enemies. It’ll be free for all players.
So if you want more Assassin’s Creed Valhalla content, boy, are you going to get it. The game is available now for PlayStation consoles, Xbox consoles and PC. Check out a glimpse at the content below!
